MEET EDEN

This is Eden, our mascot, the inspiration behind our business and the one who completed our family at the end of 2019.

We found Eden living outside in a tiny box cage at the back of a flat block - a high energy sight hound confined in isolation that hadn't been out of her cage for 3 weeks.

Eden had been taught to hunt from a young age. She had no recall, extreme separation anxiety, a high prey drive, fear of car journeys, and a long list of other behaviours that we needed to help her with.

At the start Eden would chew through skirting & any furniture, barked constantly, couldn't settle when being left, and couldn't be trusted with children, she didn't just need exercise, she needed rehabilitation, understanding and most importantly safety.

Most pet services we found were transactional, rushed or dismissive, our concerns were never heard, Eden would come back from care sick after being fed the wrong food or anxious because she hadn't been let out for toilet or monitored that she went. 

No one understood her, or wanted to. We didn't just want a service; we wanted someone to know her the way we did and to care for her the way she needed to be cared for.

We knew there had to be others like us who needed care that was compassionate, skilled and personal.

Eden isn't just a pet to us, she is a member of the family and trusting strangers with your family can be tough.

This is why we created Adored Animals (Paragon Pet Care), to provide a home, whether that is a physical home or just the feeling of home to others like Eden.
