Grim - Labrador Retriever
16 weeks old — The journey to group-walk readiness
Started with private 1-2-1 walks & drop-in visits for toilet breaks, feeding & companionship.
Grim needed some extra support with impulse control & basic obedience work.
We tied this into our walks and visits with him, working in gradual socialisation before introducing him to a pack.
+18 months old
Grim is a confident, well manned and obedient dog. Grim can be placed into any setting and regulate himself, he also looks to his handlers for guidance, loose lead walks, can be taken into any pack setting, including our paddock sessions and large group walks.
Grim has remarkable focus and impulse control on walks, can stay focused during the entire duration of our pack walks and is a happy, calm, confident dog

20 weeks old — Learning to slow down, settle & listen
Earl was a highly exctiable, constantly pushing boundaries, rushing through walks, reluctant to follow direction and struggling to switch off or settle independently.
Consistent boundaries, impulse-control work, calmer walking, engagement with the handler and learning that not everything needs to happen at full speed.
Now +12 months
Fully responsive to handlers, can regulate his excitement, walks with control at heel and settles calmly when required, he can now be placed in a wide variety of groups, and shows correct and proper socialisation and manners with other pack members.
WINSTON - SHEPHERD MIX
20 weeks old — Turning playfulness into focus
Winston treated almost everything as an opportunity to play. He regularly challenged instructions, pushed boundaries and found it difficult to stay focused when something more exciting was happening, he also struggled coming in and out of transitions, such as from home environment to a walk, or from the walk into a vehicle.
Now - 2 yrs old
Structured interactions, consistent expectations, engagement work and rewarding appropriate responses helped him understand when it was time to play and when it was time to listen.
Now Winston is responsive to directions, transitions calmly and with focus, loose lead walks, is better able to focus, maintain engagement and listen to handler, he is increasingly capable of making calmer choices
